Booking Form
“Au Coeur de Nîmes



1. All bookings for “Au Coeur de Nîmes” (known as the “apartment”) shall normally be from Saturday to Saturday, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the owners.  The apartment is designed for two occupants, and upon arrival guests will be required to complete a letting contract.

2. The arrival time at the apartment should be no earlier than 2.00 p.m. to allow for preparation, and it must be vacated no later than 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.  Guests should normally arrive between 2.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m.  Please note that the latest arrival time that can be accommodated is 7p.m., and any arrival - for whatever reason - after this time cannot be guaranteed entry into the apartment until the next day.

3. Two sets of apartment keys and one car park entry card will be handed to the guest upon arrival.  Please note that the loss of apartment keys will be charged at €60 per set as they are registered security keys which will have to be re-ordered, and the loss of the car park entry card is charged at €50.

4. The letting includes bed linen, towels and tea towels which are supplied on a weekly basis.  If the let is in excess of one week and the guest requires the apartment to be cleaned, this can be arranged at an additional cost.

5. The cost of all utilities is included in the letting charge (all seasons). 

6. The apartment is provided with a full range of appliances i.e. TV (with broadband TV), Sky TV, wireless broadband connection, CD/DVD, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster, portable electric fan, iron and ironing board, and reversible air conditioning. 

7. Unfortunately the apartment is not wheelchair accessible due to a small staircase from the third to fourth floor upon entry into the apartment, and pets are not permitted.

8. The owner accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss or accident while guests are resident in the apartment.  All guests are therefore strongly recommended to arrange their own insurance to cover any eventualities.

9. A refundable deposit is payable prior to arrival – see paragraph 12, bullet point 2. The deposit amounts are as follows:

  • 1 to 2 weeks rental - €500
  • 2 to 4 weeks rental - €750
  • In excess of one month (four weeks) - €1,000 

This will be held against damage or breakages, less reasonable wear and tear, and will be transferred back to the guest no later than five banking days after their departure.  Please note that the owner’s agent does not handle cash, and cannot accept the late payment of the deposit in cash. 


10. The booking procedure is as follows:
  • The guest will complete the booking request form, and forward it by e-mail.
  • The guest’s requested booking dates will be confirmed, or otherwise, within 48 hours.
  • This confirmation constitutes a provisional reservation.  This reservation will remain valid for 10 days by which time the relevant booking procedures and payment of deposits have to be completed – see paragraph 12, bullet point 1 below.  Failure to complete these procedures within the 10 day period will result in the provisional booking being cancelled.
  • All other deposits to be paid as detailed at paragraph 12 below.
11. Letting Charges. The cost of letting “Au Coeur de Nîmes” between January to December 2015 are as shown below:

Mid season (June & September) 2016

Low season (October to May) 2016

€695 per week

12. Deposits. Deposits are to be paid as follows: 
  • Initial.  This is 25% of the total letting cost, and is to be paid during the 10 day provisional reservation period.
  • Balance.  The remaining balance of 75% of the total letting cost, plus the refundable deposit (see paragraph 9), is to be paid no later than four (4) weeks prior to the guest’s arrival date.     
  • Late Bookings.  A late booking is one that is made within four (4) weeks of the guests’ arrival date.  In this instance, the total amount (100%) of the total letting cost and refundable deposit is to be paid.

13. Cancellations. The cancellation policy is: 

  • Should a guest cancel a booking for any reason after paying the initial deposit, a cancellation charge of 15% of the deposit paid will be withheld. 
  • If a cancellation is made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, then 50% of the deposit monies will be withheld. 
  • A cancellation made within seven (7) days prior to the arrival date, will result in 80% of the deposit monies being withheld.
  • Should the apartment be re-booked by another client for the period of the initial booking, then all deposits paid, less 10%, will be refunded to the guest.
  • All guests are strongly recommended to arrange their own insurance to cover any eventualities, including cancellation.

14. Payment of Monies. As follows: 

  • All payments should be made in EUROS, and the payment details will be forwarded to the guest upon confirmation of the provisional booking.  The return of the refundable deposit will be made in EUROS, unless the client notifies us otherwise.    
  • It must be noted all that transfer/banking charges are the responsibility of the sender.  Any erroneous transfer/banking charges made to the owner’s account will be debited from the damage and breakages deposit.
  • Payments may be made by credit card via our PayPal account.
